It describes linear causality like this, not unlike the scent of a child laughing and he sat back down and started typing, threecard dissappears chuckling into the

one
you know podus monens, the talisman of those who place their faith in reason
just as those who are afraid to fly
place their faith in gravity.

It is such a cool quote, Graham. Your book is brilliant, I enjoyed the whole thing, but that line really stood out for me.

Yes, you gotta keep your eye on him, he’s a shifty fellow, haha. Actually, Graham is responsible for keeping poetry alive here in Brisbane under difficult circumstances. It’s not exactly a ‘poetry town’.

But it was so nice reading this while listening to Sting, this was intense, heady combination of lyric (internal rhythms are fantastic) and epiphany, of the surreal and real. Great line breaks too.
