why that’s a very theatrical rendition, very winstone………good to see F again, he always adds a certain je ne
ne?

yes Jo, it is a very theatrical performance for a reason, firstly technique, despite what the Stanislavski, American, School of method acting will tell you is a fraud, you cannot inhabit the character, part of you will always be you performing, otherwise just keep americanly blabbling on about yourself,
who was the finer actor, Robert de Niro (who is know a filmstar instead), or Sir Lawrence Olivier, who had the most perfect technique, de Niro slurs for reality, Larry articulated for meaning,
in the end, i am just me but,
oh and he says to tell you because he wanted to make it obvious for the actor, the rhythmic source of the script, cos actors are generally dumb and require writers to tell them what to do,

Love your voice! Any accent differnt from my own is like music. You have a deep tone most suitable for reading. Made the poem dance.

watching other people’s lives instead of living your own: brilliant and so very true. I have thought that myself many times, when in some obscure, inexplicable moments I try to question arts and the like, and sometimes end up blaming them as a distraction from life itself. But that’s life itself

He he, I’m on Firefox now, can you dig it? I like how the thing thinks it’s smarter than me, we shall see who is the master and who is the puppet here. lol My bourbon glass maestro! It was Stella all along and Marlon Brando. James Dean was just trying to imitate Brando, he even tried to learn the bongos but he really was awful on them and couldn’t see his feet without his glasses.

It has built in spellcheck so one doesn’t have to look like an illiterate idiot unless one chooses to do so. I am having great fun with that!
Fabian G. Franklin // May 10, 2008 at 6:35 pm
